Leader
This person embodies the spirit of a true leader. A leader is a person who operates out of a genuine desire to develop and enlighten his/her team members. This person has an acute ability to motivate people and is able to effectively coach and train his/her direct reports. This person understands that a true leader is more supportive and less authoritative. A General Manager who exhibits the qualities of a leader cultivates and perpetuates the entrepreneurial spirit within each of his/her employees. Being goal oriented is the mark of every good leader. Specifications (for external candidates): (EXEMPT)
Required:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· 3 Years supervisory experience
· Microsoft Office and type 35 wpm
Preferred:
· 2 Years Hotel General Manager Experience at like service level
· Previous hotel revenue management experience
· Collegiate or Higher level education
· Hotel sales experience
· Spanish speaking
· Previous hotel accounting experience
· Previous P&L analysis experience
Desired:
· Brand experience
· Market experience
· Hospitality Degree (BS, BA, AA, AS)
