MENTOR Oregon is seeking Float Direct Support Professionals (Caregivers) to provide assistance to adults with disabilities in a community setting. Our DSPs provide assistance with daily activities such as medication administration, and personal care. DSPs also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. DSPs will also partner with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans to enhance the lives of those we support.

We are currently seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional Float for our Vocational Day Programs in the Portland Metro Area. Our DSP Float's cover shifts at our Portland, Gresham, and Hillsboro Vocational Day Programs. Primary coverage of shifts will be in our Portland area vocational day programs but floats may be required to commute to Hillsboro and Gresham for various shifts. Our programs run Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Activities covered in the program include: community outings, arts and crafts and various other educational and recreational activities. Direct Support Professional's may also provide basic personal care to clients and will assist in transportation to and from activities.
