Forklift Operators/Material Handlers/Warehouse Associates
Chattanooga, TN
Currently looking for Forklift Operators / Material Handlers / Warehouse Associates to fill openings in SEVERAL manufacturing companies based in Chattanooga, TN. Interested candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within warehouse or manufacturing/automotive environment.
Responsibilities of the Forklift Operators/Material Handlers/Warehouse Associates
- Operate material handling equipment to load and unload materials, transfer and move materials within the warehouse as needed
- Accurately document inventory of materials by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors
- Transport material to and from vendors as required
- Pull orders off shelves and pack into boxes
- Maintain quality, safety and productivity standards as required by Company
Requirements of the Forklift Operators/Material Handlers/Warehouse Associates
- Must have at least 6 months of experience within warehouse or manufacturing/automotive environment
- Must have experience operating forklifts or cherry pickers and/or stand up forklifts or tugs to be considered for an operator
- Be able to work in a fast paced environment
Compensation for the Forklift Operators/Material Handlers/Warehouse Associates
The starting salary for this position ranges from $12-14 per hour depending on experience and shift schedule.
