Technician
This company manufactures and distributes environmental testing and measurement equipment, and they're seeking a direct hire for a Technician opening at their location!
How the position works:
Instruments are rented out and when they come back in they need to be inspected and put back into service. This includes some basic diagnostics to ensure the instrument is functioning properly. If it is not, the technician will need to do some basic troubleshooting and may perform minor repairs. If something needs to be replaced, such as a power supply or a board, the technician will order it and replace it. This person will need to use basic test equipment like voltmeters and basic simple hand tools. The technician may also do some basic/simple soldering.
This candidate will also need to be open to processing orders and getting them out, as well as stocking inventory and maintaining the warehouse. This is a small team and everyone pitches in with other responsibilities!
Qualifications:
Pay: $30,000-$35,000 DOE

Qualifications:
- Intermediate/Advanced computer skills
- 2+ years experience in troubleshooting and repairs of analytical test instruments
- 2+ years experience with voltmeters & soldering
- Ability to back up warehouse activities
