Job Summary: The Treasury department is responsible for the implementation and execution of the Bank's wholesale funding, fixed income investment and interest rate hedging strategies within the Company's balance sheet management framework. A Treasury Analyst provides analytical and operational support for these functions. Responsibilities, Duties, and Accountabilities: Funding and Liquidity - Manage daily cash position and reserve requirements at Federal Reserve Bank - Forecast balance sheet cash flow - Reconcile accounts at correspondent and custodial banks Fixed Income investment portfolio - Monitor custody account and process principal and interest payments - Validate and reconcile general ledger entries - Settle bond purchases and sales - Forecast bond cash flows Interest Rate Derivatives - Issue and respond to margin calls receiving and delivering required collateral - Provide indicative swap rates to commercial lenders - Prepare and deliver reset notices to commercial clients Management Reporting - Prepare and present balance sheet change reports to ALCO - Prepare various analyses and reports for Board of Directors packages - Support financial and regulatory reporting Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or other related field - Understanding of time value of money concepts and calculations - Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Experience with Microsoft Access and Bloomberg preferred Equal Opportunity Employer Salary: Based on experience For more information about Boston Private and our career opportunities please visit our website at: www.bostonprivate.com/who-we-are/careers
