Journeyman Service Plumber
The journeyman service plumber is responsible for installing, diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing systems while providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of plumbing systems and company sponsored programs.
Salary for this position is between $35 and $40 per hour, plus bonus incentives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete all plumbing related in-home service calls efficiently and accurately
- Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans
- Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business
- Work along side customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck
- Participate actively in all training exercises and weekly meetings
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations
- Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets
Competencies and qualifications:
- Oregon General Journeyman Plumbing License
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Clean, safe driving record
