The Creative Services Department provides solutions to Marriott International’s internal clients for a range of audio, visual, digital/multimedia, collateral design, photography, and event production needs. The Production/Post-Production Assistant, Creative Services is responsible for assisting the Creative Services team in all phases of production, including video production, post-production, photography, events and asset management.
This position is responsible for contributing to all production, post-production and event needs for the Creative Services team, to include:
- Sourcing and managing video assets for Preditors and editing projects on an as needed basis.
- Work with Photographers and Preditors, assisting in all phases of production.
- Managing internal studio, including scheduling of space and maintenance of studio and equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining back-ups of all project files to internal servers.
- Operate audio booth, recording and editing audio files to be shared with editors or clients.
- Oversee live broadcast feeds from Marriott International’s Headquarters or remote locations, which includes lighting, operating camera, switcher and teleprompter.
- Work as needed on events produced by Creative Services.
Requirements for Position:
Successful candidates should possess knowledge and experience as follows:
- Require minimum of one (1) year of work experience in video and audio; photo and event experience is a plus.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects of competing priority and complexity without compromising quality or brand standards.
- Ability to work in a complex technical environment while collaborating with all levels of staff through executive management to produce high quality media.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with clients, vendors, staff and executives. Keen ability to maintain composure in a highly pressurized environment.
- Maintains awareness of current technical trends as well as staying abreast of new production/post-production equipment.
- Well versed in Macintosh applications including Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere and After Effects), Pro Tools, Keynote and PowerPoint.
Education: Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing and/or fine arts requires; or high school diploma with minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience.
