Overview:
The Common Plea opened in 1970 as a restaurant in downtown Pittsburgh. The Barsotti’s showed a passion for hospitality and The Common Plea became the benchmark for fine dining in Pittsburgh. In the early 80’s, many corporate clients began requesting catering services from the restaurant. The owners responded with a catering style of food and design unlike anything else in Pittsburgh. The catering side of the business was becoming a larger growth engine for the company. It required a commissary kitchen to be built in order to meet the high demand, which is now located in the Strip District. Eventually the restaurant would close allowing the company to focus on catering services. Common Plea Catering is the exclusive caterer at H. J. Heinz History Center and Heinz Hall. They also cater events throughout the year at several Pittsburgh venues, homes, and corporations. With the growth of Tech and other innovative industries in Pittsburgh, Common Plea Catering has been fortunate enough to meet the business dining needs of various high-volume operations.
Essential Function:
-Job requires being attentive to details and being organized.
-Pick orders in a timely manner
-Delivering the orders for the day from food, paper and other supplies needed by the company
-Basic computer skills
-Being able to fix and do basic vehicle repairs a bonus
-Accountability, Punctuality, Positive Attitude
