The Service Control Associate is responsible for supporting the Outlet Repair Team by completing administrative functions, including but not limited to ordering parts for cosmetic & mechanical repairs, entering service orders for product repair, managing service orders for internal repair work, managing parts inventory, and managing inventory control functions.  The Service Control Associate works directly with a team of hourly associates.  The Service Control Associate abides by the Code of Business Conduct and overall business practices with the highest level of integrity.  The Service Control Associate must have day, evening and weekend availability to work.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for creating service orders for products requiring cosmetic and/or mechanical repair
  • Responsible for ordering parts for cosmetic and mechanical repairs, including parts research to idenfity proper parts and availability
  • Maintains processes for order and tracking parts for product repair, and manages inventory of parts for cosmetic and mechanical repairs
  • Assists in the unit's repair operations to ensure achievement of business goals in expenses, payroll and Associate productivity
  • Partners with the Outlet Repair Specialist Lead and Assistant Store Manager of Operations to ensure full implementation of Corporate programs and initiatives on productivity
  • Mentors and coaches other associates, as applicable
  • Meets key performance metrics, including daily, weekly, and monthly goals
  • Looks continuously for methods to improve business performance
  • Takes ownership for full implementation of Corporate programs and initiatives on productivity and Associate morale
  • Understands and communicates activities/trends in the unit and unique local issues to Management
  • Ensures that the Repair department adheres to safety policies and procedures
  • Ensures that the unit operates in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Company ethics policies
  • Maintains facilities and housekeeping
  • Performs other duties as assigned
