Accountant for small manufacturing / distribution company located in the Irvine CA area.
This is a Temporary to Hire opportunity. Full-Time position paying $25-30/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
Daily processing of Accounts Payable
Daily processing of Accounts Receivables; Collection calls as needed to ensure timely receipt of receivables
General Ledger - Accurate and timely recording of all daily and month-end journal entries
Analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts and monthly reconciliation on complex ledger accounts. Research variances and prepare adjustments to correct
Process payroll using QuickBooks Enterprise
Process expense reports
Ensure accurate accruals
May also assist in preparation of financial statements and monthly management operating reports
Complete miscellaneous tax forms, filings, and payments
Bank reconciliation and transfers, as required
Prepare audit schedules, as assigned
Other special projects, as assigned
Requirements:
Min 5 years Accounting experience with Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a MUST
Strong Analysis experience is a MUST
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is a MUST
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise preferred, but will consider other accounting software experience
Salesforce software, is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
