Position Summary: Prepares, processes and moves merchandise productively and accurately according to established guidelines in order to meet location standards. Practices safety awareness. Works independently and in a team as assigned and moves between job functions as needed. Job functions may include but are not limited to: Order Consolidation, Picking, Packing, Replenishment, Shipping, Receiving, Inventorying, and Re-warehousing. Processing must be completed in a timely manner to maintain established department and location standards/goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Loads and unloads trailers, scans merchandise, builds pallets and labels merchandise
- Picks, packs and merges orders
- Rebags/Retickets, replenishes and/or stocks merchandise as needed
- Verifies accuracy of production or location; may set or assign locations of products
- Performs manual, computer or RF functions to enter data in systems
- Other duties as assigned
- Adheres to company policies and procedures; follows department training guidelines, best practices and operating
- procedures
- Keeps work area neat and clean
- Maintains standards of appearance according to location dress code
- Works well with fellow Associates, Assistant Supervisors, Supervisors and Managers
- Follows all Location Safety Guidelines
- Ensures equipment, skids, slips and other department supplies are maintained
- Ability to follow instructions and take directions
- Ability to perform tasks consistently and accurately
- Physical activity to include standing and walking up to 8 – 12 hours with scheduled breaks. Ability to function in a multi-level environment, including climbing stairs, bending, twisting, stepping, stooping, reaching, lifting and pushing. Physical ability to move merchandise weighing up to 30 pounds
- Ability to safely operate hand and power equipment according to procedure
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math and computer operations
- Attention to detail
- Regular attendance is required
- Successful completion and passing of Physical Abilities Test (PAT), if required for the location
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
