Job Overview:



Macy's Logistics is currently seeking candidates for the position of Baler Operator



Essential Functions:

• Inspect, sort and bale all waste cardboard and plastic
• Maintain balers and compactor clear of trash that can build up and create a malfunction
• Maintain the dock area (area surrounding baler).
• General Housekeeping
• Changing MHE Batteries
• Maintenance of the MHE Batteries
• Basic Maintenance of the MHE Battery changer.
• Daily operation of facility Sweeper
• General Maintenance and cleaning of Sweeper.

Qualifications:

Communication Skills

• Must possess good verbal communication skills
• Communicates with necessary contacts when bailers and compactors require cycling.

Reasoning Ability

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Demands

• Physical ability to move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis without assistance and items heavier than 50 pounds on an occasional basis with assistance.

• Works harmoniously and effectively with others as part of a team.

• Flexibility in work schedule
