Job Summary:

The Product Development Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and creative support to the Product Development and Trend team ensuring smooth daily department operation.




Key Roles & Responsibilities:

. Assists with trend, color and product research to support product development initiatives

. Assists with administration and communication for key company initiatives (i.e. Vignettes,Welcome Tables, Reinventions)

. Assists with Trend Presentations and Product Development PowerPoint presentations

. Maintains Product Development & Trend resource library (i.e. Pantone books, magazines/publications, fabrics, finishes and product samples)

. Updates and maintains key departmental reports

Qualifications

. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred

. Creativity with a passion for product development

. Proficiency with MS Office products - especially PowerPoint

. Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator)

. Strong research skills with the ability to effectively translate and communicate findings

. Ability to develop/maintain strong working relationship with peers and cross-functional teams

. Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities

. Able to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
