Perry Ohio Manufacturer seeks Wire Harness Assembly
1st shift, Monday through Friday 6:00am 2:30pm
$12.00/hr
Responsible for the inspection and rework of cables and harnesses for conformance to established specifications.
Duties Include:
Perform general area/equipment/machine cleaning
Demonstrate proper technique for preparing wires and crimping terminals and pins per established workmanship standards
Work to be performed in a safe manner to prevent potential safety issues
Demonstrate proper cable assembly techniques heat shrink installation, wire braid installation, to ensure reliability and to avoid damaging cable and connector
Identify cable or wiring defects and segregate non-conforming material for proper disposition
Rework assemblies found out of specifications into a condition which meets specifications
Set-up, verify, and use tools and equipment in area, and is certified when required on machines in area
Operate and verify torque of torque wrenches per SOP07/2-37
Follow requirements for 1st piece inspections and in-process audits
Proper handling precautions when working with process chemicals and materials
Requirements Include:
Proper wire harness assembly and soldering
Workmanship standards pertaining to wire and cable assembly area
Minimum 2 years of experience as an experienced assembler with good quality and productivity
Overtime may be required
