Kitchen Manager is the owner of the daily kitchen operation. This role embraces a commitment to quality and develops and enhances the skills of all team members and sets the standard for executing all kitchen systems, methods and procedures. The Kitchen Manager contribution to the brand goal of delivering a superior guest experience by maintaining a work environment that emphasizes teamwork, quality products, positive energy and fun. This includes guiding the sales success of the business by leading and motivating the team members, supervisory and restaurant staff to create a service friendly environment that represents a quality product, clean and neat dining experience for our customers.

* Responds to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.

* Responsible for accurate inventory control as it relates to monthly inventories, food ordering and prep guidelines.

* Ensure that all team members are following system and process concerning storage and handling.

* Acts as the "gate-keeper" for consistent product preparation, ensuring that every guest receives menu items prepared according to the recipes and exceed their expectations.

* Facility upkeep in regards to kitchen maintenance, zoning, sanitation, food safety and 100% adherence to HACCP.

* Delivers financial results by achieving all assigned cost goals, problem solving financial opportunities, and recommending cost saving measures.

* Partners with management to implement policies and goals set forth by the company. Follows up and holds team accountable to maintain standards.

* Assist Management in all new hire training, product roll-outs and operational initiatives

* Looks for opportunities to continually enhance the food and beverage product knowledge of the entire team

* Ensures proper training and compliance of associates in understanding and adherence to established security, register and record-keeping procedures

* Monitor and address performance issues in a timely manner, to include, counseling and annual performance reviews feedback

* Kitchen/ Back of the House scheduling and labor cost

* Development of Back of the House team

* Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

* High School diploma or GED

* Culinary School background or equivalent experience

* Five (5) years as a Kitchen Manager or Assistant Manager Restaurant in a fast paced high volume, quality casual dining restaurant with a full understanding of customer service.

* Ability to manage for results in a team environment

* Ability to communicate effectively in order to relay product knowledge and services

Required Experience

* Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team oriented environment

* Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language

* Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously

* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations

* Proficiency required in reading and writing and mathematics

* Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records check, Paradies Background Check, and applicabl
