Our client, a Large, National 3rd Party Logistics Company based in Romeoville, is looking for hard working, warehouse associates that have previous experience operating an electric pallet jack (walkie rider) as well as case pick experience with an RF scanner.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months -- 1 year of experience case picking as well as operating an EPJ, sitdown and Reachtruck forklift equipment. You must also possess a great attitude, be willing to learn and take direction, have a high level of interest in working in a warehouse environment and be looking for a full-time position, as this opportunity is a true temporary to hire position.
Here are a few other requirements:
Ability to work 8-10 hours per day right now, and occasional Saturdays
A desire to work in a fast-paced environment
Capability to lift/pick 40-50 pounds for the entire shift
A strong work ethic and the ability to be at work each scheduled shift
Proficiency using an RF Scanner, Electric Pallet Jack and at least one other piece of forklift equipment (Reach truck or Sitdown forklift)
Steel-toed shoes
What you get in return:
Starting pay rate of $13.50 per hour, with overtime as required
2pm shift start time, out by 10;30 on most days, but you musyt be flexible to work until 12:30am.
A stable company, with great benefits and room for advancement
Temporary to Hire consideration after completing just 90 days of service
