Express Employment is currently seeking a Quality Technician in Portland, TN for 2nd Shift – 4:30pm - 1am, Monday-Friday. Pay Rate: $11.80 Interested candidates should have at least 6 months of previous work experience in Quality Control preferred. The position is Evaluation-to-Hire.
Responsibilities of the Quality Technician:
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve Quality Control operating procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Investigate and recreate reported defects
- Track and document all testing defects and resolutions
- Work with other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve coding issues
Requirements of the Quality Technician:
- Previous work experience in Quality Control in food
- Previous Industrial experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Physical Requirements of the Quality Technician:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and twist up to 8 hours
Compensation of the Quality Technician:
- $11.80 per hour
