Greet and welcome all patients and visitors entering site.Performs selected medical assistant and clerical duties.Answer phones and takes appropriate messages.Verify insuranceCollect co-pays, deductibles and balances from patients.Prepares patients for examination and treatment.Takes patient histories, vitals, and documents in EHR.Prepares exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.Prepares injections.Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments.Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments.Calls in authorization for prescriptions to pharmacies.Additional duties and tasks as assigned.
