Weekend HHA CAREGiver

Home Instead Senior Care has an immediate need for caring and compassionate Home Health Aide CAREGivers available to work weekend shifts. We have 8 am-3 pm shifts, 3 pm-10 pm shifts, 12 hours shifts, short shifts and overnight work available.  We encourage individuals to apply that have the ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.  If you are this person, we would love to speak with you. 

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• HHA CAREGiver's provide personal care such as bathing, feeding and dressing
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer's Care

Requirements to be a Home Health Aide:

• Must have a valid CPR card and proof of HIV training
• Complete and pass a Level 2 AHCA criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Must have a valid Florida driver's license, valid auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Physician's clearance within the last 6 months & Two Step TB results or Chest X-ray within last year
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

We are looking for individuals available to work weekends to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Additional shifts may be available.

On-going training, Good Start Bonus, Anniversary Bonuses, and 401(k) plan are available to our CAREGivers.
