CAREGiver / Home Health Aide

Immediate need for caring and compassionate Home Health Aide CAREGivers to work for Home Instead Senior Care.  We have a variety of shifts available to match your needs.  For example, we have 8 am-3 pm shifts, 3 pm-10 pm shifts, 12 hour shifts, evenings, weekend and overnight work available.  Must be willing to work 30-40 hours per week.   We encourage individuals to apply that have the ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect.  We want you to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults and their families.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Home Health Aide duties include, but are not limited to:

• Personal Care - Bathing, feeding, dressing
• Assist in transferring a client in and out of shower, bed, auto
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Transportation to doctor appointments and errands

Requirements to be a Home Health Aide:

• Must have a valid CPR card and proof of HIV training
• Complete and pass a Level 2 AHCA criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Must have a valid Florida driver's license, valid auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Physician's clearance within the last 6 months & Two Step TB results or Chest X-ray within last year
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
