Duties include, but are not limited to:

Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

Medication and appointment reminders

Assistance with grooming and bathing

Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

Companionship and conversation

Alzheimer's Care

Transportation to local errands/appointments as needed

Pet care
*No previous experience necessary - skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care*
Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
-
Ability to read, write, and converse in English, have appropriate dialog with clients, and maintain client documentation
-
Ability to respond promptly when client calls out for assistance
-
Ability to sit, stand, and bend/stoop repeatedly throughout shift and lift up to 25lbs.

Ability to complete light housekeeping chores and prepare meals as required
-
Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
-
Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance
