Description:

 

This is a part time position at a favorite bakery in San Francisco. Approaching 10 years in business, Dynamo Donut & Coffee has two locations, and wholesales to cafes and grocery stores around the city. You will be responsible for growing the business. You’ll be finding opportunities to get people in our door, or create new products to get out of our storefronts. You must be extremely self-motivated and driven. This position reports directly to the owner. You work alongside of the Kitchen Managers and Cafe Manager as well. Our team is small, and you will be wearing many hats! It is part-time (about 20 hours per week), but there are opportunities for growth.

 

Responsibilities:

 

MARKETING

  • Create: Your job is to create new opportunities! You will constantly be keeping up with marketing trends and creating opportunities for the business to grow.

  • Photo Content: Create all photo content for social media, web, and print materials.

  • Social Media: Manage our social media accounts, mainly Instagram and Facebook. You will be posting on these platforms daily.

  • Copywriting: You will be writing all of our captions on social media as well as any event descriptions, or copy on printed materials.

  • Partnerships: Seek out partnerships and maintain relationships with other local businesses, whether it’s teaming up on new flavors or working on events together.

  • Events: Seek out opportunities in the local community and work events when needed.

  • Donations: You’ll receive all donation requests and filter through them, and coordinate sending donations or having them picked up.

  • Design: You will be responsible for making updates to our website, designing signage for our shop or wholesale customers, etc.

  • Product Development: We have two new retail products, granola and doggy donuts, which we are hoping to start pushing out into the world. We make other products which could also be packaged up. Find these opportunities and use them!

  • Merchandise: Design any new merchandise, from shirts to mugs, to keep our retail items fresh and new.

 

SALES

  • Wholesale: You will be responsible for seeking out new wholesale accounts and bringing them into our program.

  • Account Management: You will manage our wholesale accounts, update orders, and make sure that the bakery has everything they need to fulfill the orders.

  • Delivery Routes: You will make sure that our delivery drivers know about any changes to their routes, and fit any new accounts in to the routes.

  • Delivery Prep: You will make sure that our drivers have what they need to make deliveries, including managing the platform we use, printing packing labels, and invoices.

  • Production Schedule: With any changes to wholesale accounts or special orders you will work with the kitchen managers to ensure that they have the orders.

  • Accounts Receivable: You will manage our accounts receivable for wholesale accounts or special orders.

  • ECommerce: Keep our online shop up to date and fulfill any orders that come through.

 

OPERATIONS:

You are business savvy and open to implementing new technology to make things run smoother between our ordering and production scheduling. As you come up with opportunities and grow the business, you have to make sure that all aspects of the business can keep up. You will manage and implement any changes that you, with approval of the owner, see fit.
