Job Summary

Waterford Senior Living, located in the quiet outskirts of Wateford, WI is a 54 unit assisted living, 29 unit memory care seeking compassionate, hardworking and reliable dietary aides.

The right individual will possess strong interpersonal skills, a caring personality, along with the knowledge to assist residents with their everyday living while encouraging independence.

Must be available to work Every other Weekend and a holiday rotation.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare quality tasting and eye-pleasing meals while giving the residents choice and following the menus accordingly.

Prep food for the dinner meal and for weekend menus as deemed appropriate and keep a full supply of snacks available for the residents.

Prepare meals as assigned from the Food Service Director.

Portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.

Fill water glasses before residents arrive.

Fill resident’s beverage requests as they arrive.

Service the meal and refills drinks as needed.

Clean one course before serving the next.

Clear all dishes.

Set the tables for the next meal.  (Following dinner, the tables do not need to be set; this is a 3rd shift responsibility).

Wash and sanitizes pots, dishes, utensils, etc. either by mechanical washing or hand washing.

Store clean equipment and utensils, dishes and pans and puts them in the correct area.

Clean the kitchen as it was before your shift.

Sweep/vacuum the dining room in areas if needed.

Maintain and uses proper chemical amounts and temperatures when operating dish machine and using the pot sink.

Label and dates all food and rotates stock when needed.

Report any kitchen equipment repair or maintenance needed to the Food Services Director.

Must be able to attend CBRF Training if not on registry (Fire Safety, First Aide and Choking, Standard Precautions.
