Vehicle Assembler
The Automotive Rework technician/assembler is responsible for assembly, inspection, repair and diagnostic services. This individual will work on electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical/electrical component assembly and replacement. You must have the ability to explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other associates and customers.

Vehicle Assembler
The Automotive Rework technician/assembler is responsible for assembly, inspection, repair and diagnostic services. This individual will work on electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical/electrical component assembly and replacement. You must have the ability to explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include other associates and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or OEM standards
- Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including powertrain, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, etc. to specification
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
- Inspect and test newly assembled vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made.
- Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
- Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
- Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers.
- Overhaul or replace electric motor components, chargers, etc.
- Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services.
- Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience
- Working knowledge of shop equipment
