Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Carpenter Grade II to perform routine tasks within trade and assists Carpenter Grade I as assigned.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Performs minor carpentry construction work such as ceiling tile, floor tile and carpet installation.
+ Perform minor building and grounds carpentry maintenance such as ceiling tile, floor tile and carpet replacement.
+ Hangs pictures, signs and other minor fixtures as directed.
+ Assist in metal framing and sheet rock installation as directed
+ Under direction of Grade I Carpenter performs general work order completion such as general masonry, concrete, demolition and debris removal.
+ Perform related work as required.
Minimum Requirements
+ Possess general knowledge of the carpentry trade.
+ Must be able to operate small power tools and machinery as required.
+ Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions.
+ A willingness to work shift if necessary, including days, evenings, and nights as well as overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
+ High school, technical school, apprenticeship, trade school graduate or equivalent required.
+ Two years experience in trade or building maintenance.
+ Must be a U.S. Citizen, able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.
