Staffmark is currently assisting a local client in Greenwood Indiana with their search for a Press Brake Machine Operator to work in a manufacturing facility. As a Press Brake Machine Operator you will be responsible for forming bend angles on aerospace components and tubes to very close tolerances, using a manual press brake. May perform some trouble-shooting and rework of production items and must be able to work from complex and detailed blueprints and /or verbal and written instructions.
This is a temp to hire position!

Primary job duties for a Press Brake Machine Operator include but are not limited to:
Bend components and tube parts to company specification and customer expectation
Selects the correct V-Die based on the thickness of the material and the correct punch based on the radius of the bend
Performs the set-ups for manual form operations per working instruction
Retrieves programs and set-up auto form operations
Insets material into machines, manually
Inspect all parts for proper assembly and cosmetic defects
Shift hours:
2nd shift ~ 4:30pm -1:30am Monday -- Friday
Pay rate: $14.50 per hour + shift differential of 10%

Demonstrated knowledge of basic math, including working with decimals, and strong mechanical aptitude.
Must be able to work required overtime that can be substantial during peak periods.
Able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and stand for long period of time on a daily basic.
Able to bend, twist, turn, carry, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, etc.
Must be able to successfully pass vision screens.
