The Group Lead (GL) of Engine Combustion System Development in Powertrain Virtual Analysis is the leader in managing a group of engineers in supporting part design engine combustion system, engine combustion system optimization and advanced combustion concept evaluation/development through utilizing 3D CFD analysis tools. While working very closely with Program Lead (PL), the GL is responsible for project management including assignment, standard process follow-up as defined by 3D CFD capability catalogue and high quality results delivery on time.
Core responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Supervise the execution of standard process in production development
- Improve communication and operational efficiency
- Manage and plan innovation projects
- Provide strategic planning of resources and the group development
- Work with Technical Lead (TL) to improve 3D CFD capability and extend its applications into new areas
The candidate should have a strong background in engine combustion, system simulation and optimization. The GL will also have strong ability in leading the direction of future engine product development and research at FCA.
