The Quality organization is currently seeking a highly skilled, solutions-oriented CPA Coordinator to join the Quality team at Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The CPA Coordinator is responsible for assessing the overall quality of production vehicles, owns the CPA KPI and is accountable for driving month over month improvement in the CPA KPI by managing/improving the CPA improvement process/regimen.

The following items summarize many of the typical responsibilities /activities:

  • Direct audit staff to assure CPA audits are conducted in accordance to the CPA Corporate Policy
  • Conduct daily electronic manual vehicle selection to assure mix is consistent with daily production build
  • Track and audit special Glidepath, durability, and emission test vehicles
  • Communicate critical and ordinary audit conditions immediately to plant and product team personnel
  • Provide first level review of audit conditions requiring clarification
  • Develop charts indicating performance to target and trend analysis
  • Handle maintenance and administration of CPA data measurement, collection and reporting system and equipment
  • Review CPA data for complete/accurate and release audit results daily
  • Supervisor hourly inspectors/auditors and provide auditor training with documented effectiveness
  • Conduct daily vehicle reviews with all auditors
  • Provide Auditor training on new features, options, sales codes, and engineering changes
  • Monitor individual auditor results to identify individual training needs
  • Conduct annual Auditor certification
  • Achieve/maintain compliance with TUV and MQGR with no major process findings
  • Conduct special vehicle studies to support root cause analysis and problem solving
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • When needed Support CTVV Activities:
    • Support all activities in accordance with MQGR and ASQ operating standards
    • Develop and execute internal audit and layered audit programs and to ensure compliance to quality standards and procedures
    • Develop and monitor internal quality metrics. Communicate performance and corrective actions to appropriate team members
    • Monitor customer (TCF, BODY Paint) feedback monthly and in conjunction with management team, develop actions to improve as appropriate
