No prior experience needed, just a passion for helping people, a high school diploma, a driver’s license in good standing and successful completion of background and reference checks, and physical, and drug test. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.


Description

Life Skills Trainers (LSTs) are direct care staff who assist adults with acquired brain injuries or other neurological disorders. LSTs help with the functions of daily living in a residential setting. Some of these functions include cooking, dressing, bathing, and providing medications. The LST also helps to care for the home as pertains to appearance and cleanliness and administer and manage client files.

Neuro Restorative is seeking Life Skills Trainers to provide training, assistance and supervision to MENTOR ABI Group participants in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential & community settings. Assists with medical supervision. Facilitates working relationships between community employers and MENTOR ABI Group participants. Cooperate with MENTOR ABI and any state Department of Human Service staff in any inspection or investigation.
