Job Summary:
We are seeking highly-motivated, career-oriented lead and assistant teachers with a passion for Early Childhood Education whose general duties will be as follows.
LEAD TEACHERS
• Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
ASSISTANT TEACHERS
• Teacher assists in the implementation of a superior Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and Malvern School philosophy
BOTH LEAD AND ASSISTANT TEACHERS
• Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
• Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
What we need from you:
LEAD TEACHERS
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent college credits) in Elementary, Early Childhood Education, or Child Development
• Certification in Early Childhood Education.
• At least one-year experience in Early Childhood Education
ASSISTANT TEACHERS
• High school diploma and be at least 18 years of age
• At least two years of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility OR 15 relevant college credits and at least one year documented experience with young children in a licensed facility
• Must be (or be willing to start) pursuing a CDA (Child Development Associate) OR a degree in the field
