General Scope ofPosition:

Safety, quality andsustainability will be the hallmarks of the Technical Packaging Operator, whichwill compliment an improved ability to analyze, problem solving, and coachothers. The Technical Packaging Operator is required to Operate, Maintain,Improve and Repair equipment according to training endorsement, and willsupport the delivery of operational KPIs (Productivity, Quality, Safety, Healthand Environment, Cost, Delivery, Morale and Innovation. Supported by thecore skills to work within an autonomous team, the Technical Packaging Operatorwill diligently follow the established standards of production delivery anddrive continuous improvement. The Technical Packaging Operator will have abasic understanding of key cost drivers in the Sourcing Unit and will grow thisin line with her/his wider project management skills.

Job Skills/Tasks:

Follow all plant safety policies and practices.

Train and develop self and others in safetyskills and knowledge, contributing to the continuous improvement of safetyperformance for self and team through participating in the identification,analysis and minimization of risk in the work area.

Support design and implement improvements tomaterial flow, ergonomics, accessibility and safety.

Ensure that all aspects of Quality within thearea of responsibility are in accordance with agreed Quality requirements andstandards. Conduct regular and stringent Quality inspections.

Actively support the Plant's WCM initiative.

Plan, carry out and review FocusedImprovement activities to eliminate losses and prevent recurrence. Allassociates will give oral presentations.

Reduce costs due to waste and minimize impact tohealth, safety and the environment through working to eliminate waste andthrough the correct management of waste materials.

Adhere to plant GMP guidelines.

Operate and conduct changeovers on equipment in5 working zones as required.

Operate pallet jack after certification trainingwith periodic recertification.

Plan and carry out Autonomous Activities inproduction areas.

Operate within an Autonomous environment thatdemands outstanding personal qualities to achieve the standards of attitude,motivation, trust and adaptability required to be a world class team player.

Coordinate, schedule, and communicate withinteam to provide break, over time, and vacation coverage to ensure that teamresources can meet operational requirements.

Promote the development of a highly effectiveteam through encouraging good interpersonal skills, leading by example,building rapport and managing conflict while keeping focused on goals andtargets.

Conduct Peer to Peer evaluations.

Flexible work schedule. Work shift asassigned and overtime as required.

Demonstrate ability to use Company Work OrderSystem.

Effective computer skills in order to use PCprograms, Windows, SAP, Rockwell supervisory system.

Education:

High School Diploma orEquivalent
