Production / Machine Operator
This is a new facility in Buford, GA that is going to start with a handful of employees to start up, then add a lot of additional employees. This means there is going to be quick room for advancement for the first employees! Production/Machine Operators will have the opportunity to grow to Leads in a short period of time. This company makes car parts for a variety of car manufacturers.
Summary: Sets up and runs machines such laminator, horizontal or vertical saw, thermal vacuum forming, compression molding, die cutting, adhesive spray as well as other semi-automated equipment.
Responsibilities:
Hours: To start, you must be available both 1st and 2nd shift.
Pay: $13.85/hr to start, with opportunity for performance raises

Responsibilities:
- Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Helps create set-up sheets and work instructions for new jobs.
- Pushes button or depress pedal to activate machine.
- Help with tool change set dies and mold, guides, tables, alignment pins, fixtures and roll stands.
- Observes machine operation to detect work piece quality and machine malfunction.
- Measures work piece dimensions, using guages or structure and routing specifications to determine accuracy of machine operation.
- Performs hand assembly operations as required by job processes.
- Must have 6 to 12 months of related experience (machine set-up, heavy production, manufacturing, auto mechanicics, etc.)
- Willingness to pitch in for any activities that need to be done (warehouse, cleaning, general labor, etc.) to start
- Must be a go-getter!!
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 50 lbs throughout the day
- Ability to work in a warm environment
- Ability to stand on feet all day
- Math abilities to include reading measurements, add/subtract/multiply/divide
