Part Time Mandarin Speaking Child Care

Hello! We are a family with 2 young daughters , ages 3.5 and 6.5 years old living in Nomad, Manhattan. Our daughters are in a Mandarin immersion school in Chelsea, Manhattan. We are seeking a Mandarin speaking sitter to care for our daughters for around 15 hours a week. Responsibilities will include picking both up at school starting at 3PM, taking them to after school activities, playing with them, homework help, bathing, simple dinner preparation and bedtime routine. We would like the conversation to take place in Mandarin in order to increase our daughters overall comprehension and to build their confidence in conversation. There will be at least one late night a week which would include putting them to sleep and sitting until we return home. The perfect candidate has child care experience, fluent in Mandarin, interest in teaching, enthusiastic, energetic and motivated to care for and teach children. Ideal days are Tuesday 3-7 and Thursday 3-10-11PM and occasional Friday afternoon/evenings. Flexibility for other night time babysitting a plus. Position starts ASAP-June. Summer schedule will differ and pick up similarly in September.
