Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Treatments Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
* Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
* Perform all hair care services, cut and blow dry, coloring and formal evening/wedding styling
* Stay current with new styles and industry trends
* Maintain cleanliness of work area and all equipment used
* Report any equipment that requires servicing
* Book and schedule salon appointments as required
* Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
* Follow departmental policies and procedures
* Follow all safety and sanitation policies
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a Hair Salon preferred
* Arizona Cosmetology license required
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
* Highly responsible & reliable
* Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
* Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
