Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Leadership
- Coordinate schedules and assigned tasks for QA Techs
- Mentor and help develop QA Techs’ skills and responsibilities
- Calculate and track QA team performance statistics for use in process improvement
- Coordinate the response to “rush” or urgent requests without prior notice
- Develop, document, and utilize standardized methods to train new team members
- Identify areas for improvement in relation to quality and manage projects to implement changes
- Build teams for active improvement projects
- Be flexible to work alternate shift schedules
Quality Assurance
- Monitor and coordinate daily testing of cards to ensure they meet CQM specification
- Monitor and maintain specific CQM documents
- Schedule and manage internal CQM audits
- Follow-up on corrective and preventative actions plans as required from audits or quality improvement projects
- Manages product quality through production process with periodic 100% reviews of product
- Perform daily product quality tests and gather metrics
- Raw material reviews/certifications
- Audit production processes and actively develop and implement changes for improvement
- Communicate effectively with internal customers to promote quality through the production process
- Maintain quality procedures and their integrity
- Assist in local root cause analysis research for client complaints
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Autodesk production software (AutoCAD MEP, Revit, NavisWorks, Bluebeam, Excel, BIM 360)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize, delegate tasks, and meet deadlines
- Desire and talent for training others
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to Create / Maintain strong sense of urgency
- Must be intolerant to Mediocrity
- Ability to accept responsibility & be accountable for achieving results
- Set and achieve goals
- 4 years Electrical experience
- Basic understanding of color theory
- Ability to accurately view the full color spectrum
