Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

We are searching for a rock star Warehouse Associate who believes being organized is better than sliced bread. Perhaps YOU are the best candidate!

You will ensure that the daily functions and procedures of our warehouse run smoothly and efficiently. From shipping and receiving to maintaining inventory, you must keep close tabs on all facets of warehouse operations. You'll also act as a liaison between our service technicians and customers who need help with garage door equipment and mechanical parts.

As a Warehouse Associate, job duties include:

• Unloading inventory off of vendor trucks and storing in proper locations
• Opening shipments and confirming product quality and quantity received against purchase orders
• Conducting regular spot checks of inventories, including materials and supplies, while ensuring there is an adequate supply of materials available
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of warehouse area
• Cross-training in the installation of new garage doors

• Have solid basic math skills and can effectively read a tape measure
• Can demonstrate your ability to apply computer technology and software in day-to-day tasks
• Are a self-starter and ambitious
• Have strong customer service, organization and communication skills
• Are able to lift, count, select, sort, ticket, pack and/or handle an assortment of merchandise, and have the capacity for lifting up to 100 lbs, reaching overhead, bending, and twisting.
