Finishing Techician

We are looking for experienced Finishing and Packaging Clerk at our Kent, Washington facility.  This position is responsible for ensuring finishing instructions are completed and will meet customer expectations.

Primary responsibilities will include:

·         Operates and maintains packaging equipment necessary to pack merchandise.

·         Wraps protective material around product.

·         Inspects materials, products, and containers at each step of packaging process.

·         Records information such as weight, time, date packaged, and carrier.

• Compares written job specifications, blueprints, or approved prototypes with production items.
• Reads processing information such as specification sheets, to verify that records, production, and sampling adhere to quality assurance specifications.
• If assembly or finishing is required, checks for faulty production and adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure that the production order form contains correct record of spoilage and replacements.
• Identifies rejected or "second-quality" material and ensure that this stock is separated and clearly marked as to job number, lot size, defect, and other necessary specifications.
