General Manager- Manufacturing Industry

Qualified Candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Management.
• 10+ of increasingly responsible senior-level management experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience and understanding of the manufacturing of Aerospace Components and assemblies
• *Experience in or working with a machined parts manufacturing environment

Owens Machine and Tool Company has been in business since 1986. Due to impressive growth and expansion in the aerospace and defense markets, we are seeking a General Manager to oversee P&L responsibilities and daily operations. Business maintains AS9100 and ISO qualifications. In addition we are a certified vendor for aerospace OEM's. This individual will have the following responsibilities:

• Develops and recommends short and long range objectives consistent with company goals.
• Plans, implements and oversees a growth management strategy to meet increased customer demand.
• Responsible for developing operational plans to expand capacity and associated resources.
• Seeks and evaluates potential relationships and alliances with vendors.
• The GM will develop strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Leads business development initiative with existing and new customers.
• The GM must provide top-down leadership and monitor a rigorous approach to management by metrics throughout the factory.
• Facilitate seamless transition of manufacturing new products by evaluating projects and overseeing the introduction of these new products into the work stream.
• The GM develops the organization to its full potential and keeps personnel motivated and productive.
• Improve policies and procedures to create a more structured accountability amongst the management staff.
• Responsible for P&L of manufacturing.
• Responsible for Manufacturing Process control.
• Reports monthly to the Board of Directors
