Job Description

Performs a variety of duties to maintain the retail store; stock shelves and cases with ample product so it is aesthetically pleasing, keep areas clean, make coffee drinks, handle money, and be friendly and helpful to all customers.

Responsibilities

• Learns different varieties of bread by sight and taste
• Labels all bagged bread before putting it on shelf
• Stocks bread until shelves and case are full Bags rolls and other product
• Handles and counts money and uses a register
• Answers phone and checks voicemails
• Regularly checks email throughout day
• Stocks utensils and coffee products
• Occasional orders over the phone and notifies customer service
• Communicates clearly to coworkers
• Safely walking through production; to get orders, or compact unsold bread
• Comply with SQF (Safe Quality Foods) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
• Report any food safety issues immediately to a supervisor

Requirements

• Can lift 30-40 pounds pretty regularly
• Can multitask
• Must be very patient and kind; a people person
• Must have sufficient math skills
• Strong memory
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills
