Concord Hospitality Now Hiring Evening Bistro Bar/Restaurant Server:
Courtyard by Marriott Newark/Granville is looking for someone with a passion to serve others. Our Bistro is a place where we connect with our guests – both in the morning and at night! We are seeking a dynamic individual interested in a part time position as evening Bistro bar / restaurant server. This evening shift is from 4:00pm – 11:00pm. Expect 21-30 hrs/wk, with a beginning hourly rate of $8.50/hour plus tips.
Evening Bistro Responsibilities:
*Offer “Marriott” exceptional hospitality service to hotel guests in our lobby Bistro.
* Skilled bar service for alcoholic beverages, skilled Starbucks coffee service, kitchen preparation of evening selections of food offerings of appetizers, salads, and sandwiches, and other evening food services. Professional hospitality guest service skills required.
* Maintaining a stocked and clean Bistro, kitchen, lobby and meeting room.
* Cash handling, record keeping, inventories, and preparation of Bistro reports.
* Other responsibilities as required to run the Courtyard by Marriott Bistro.
Ideal Candidates are independent and self-motivated. Have excellent listening skills and appropriate communication skills to interact with a variety of guests including travelers from around the world. Candidates must possess knowledge of licking county’s amenities, attractions, and services offered to our guests. Attention to detail and maintaining Marriott’s quality Brand Standards at all times is a must for this candidate.
Requirements:
Minimum age requirement is 21.
High school diploma
Prior experience in customer service and/or hospitality industry.
Servsafe food Safety certified a plus
Tips training certified a plus
Bartender certified a plus
This part time position requires the candidate to work a flexible schedule including weekends, and holidays.
