JOB SUMMARY:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Group (S.M.E.R.F) Sales Manager at the Renaissance Baronette Hotel. If you are a talented professional, passionate about creating extraordinary experiences, then we could be your perfect hotel.
Here’s a snapshot of the role and its key responsibilities:
S.M.E.R.F market
Managing existing and developing a new portfolio of group accounts
Sales calls, tours of the property / site inspections
Representation at key trade shows, community involvement and events
Meeting / exceeding your goals on all levels
Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external customers
Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them
Executes and supports the company's customer service standards
Provides that excellent customer service consistent with the daily service basics of the company
Sets a positive example for guest relations
Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
Participates in lobby lizard programs and other ways to build relationships
We’ll be hiring a candidate that has:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Hotel sales experience / knowledge – preferable 2 to 3 years in group sales
Ability to reach targets & develop dynamic sales strategies
Strong systems knowledge
