Primary Responsibility
Ideal candidate will be responsible for the a/c tech maintenance of all refrigeration, heating and kitchen equipment and to assist in other areas of engineering as assigned.
Essential Job Functions
- Will be required to troubleshoot any electrical problems
- Will need to solder copper tubing, clean coils and change filters on the PM maintenance program.
- Must be able to align belts and pulleys and maintain a centrifugal chiller.
- Maintain chilled water cooling systems and chilled water tower
- Will be required to order parts for all equipment as needed
- Will do plumbing repairs and install new plumbing and maintain water heaters.
- Executives all job duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the Safety procedures within the department.
General Skills/Qualifications
- Must be a/c certified
- Must have computer skills
- Must be able to work unsupervised.
- Must have 5 years minimum experience being an a/c mechanic in a commercial setting.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
