Job Description
The Fairfield Inn and Suites is hiring a Guest Service Agent/Night Audit..
The Guest Service Agent/ Night Audit represents the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of the guest's stay. Determines a guest's reservation status and identifies how long the guest will stay and assigns rooms accommodating special requests whenever possible. Verifies the guest's method of payment and follows established credit-checking procedures. Works closely with the housekeeping department in keeping room status reports up-to-date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work. Must be sales-minded. Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices. Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.
Hours will vary: 7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm / 11pm-7am
As a Guest Service Agent your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting guests and checking in and out, fulfilling guest requests during their stay, answering telephone inquiries, making reservations, and other duties as assigned.
- Assist with sales efforts in soliciting new business and in selling guestrooms, meeting space
- Able to work through customer service related issues
- Any other duties or responsibilities which might be required by a manager supporting, laundry, breakfast and some public area cleaning
Requirements:
- Available on flexible shifts on Weekday, Weekends and Holidays.
- Possessing strong written and verbal communication skills
- Previous hotel front desk experience
- Proficient with technology
