Reporting Relationship : The Kitchen Manager reports directly to the Food & Beverage Operations team, Executive Sous Chef, and Executive Chef, and has support responsibility for all functional managers of the unit.

Job Summary: The Assistant Kitchen Manager is responsible for preparing high-quality food at a quick pace for both customers and employees while contributing to the mission and goals set forth by the client. This position is also responsible for ensuring that every guest of the facility receives the highest level of customer service possible while contributing to the mission and goals set forth by the client.

There are four main restaurants onsite that serve a unique culinary experience with pizza, fry, grill, prep, and line cook stations. Catering prep takes place in our main kitchen. Service standards range from buffet to 5-star plated events.
 

Responsibilities:
Oversee quality, product levels and inventory of product.
Operate large volume cooking equipment, including a grill and fryer
Motivate and train employees
Supervise employees in accordance with State and Federal labor laws.
Progressively document and discipline employees to promote better work performances compliant to the company policies and procedures.
Promote a positive attitude among teammates and guests
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
Comply with all food safety regulations and practices

Requirements

Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required for applicants over 18 years of age not currently attending school Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills Communicate clearly with associates and customers Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation. Operate all equipment necessary to perform job duties Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (up to 50 lbs.) of merchandise throughout the facility and perform all functions as set forth above Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed Must have Internet access 2+ years of culinary/kitchen management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

ServSafe certification

Wage: Competitive based on experience - $13-14/hour
