Dental Assistant

A leading well-established dentist in Oakland is looking for a new team member! The right candidate will be someone who is good at helping patients with the ability to be firm, but caring and friendly. This is a Full-Time Temp to Hire position starting at $15-$18 per hour.

Job Duties:

• Greet patients and answer phones
• Schedule patient visits to maximize office efficiency
• Send follow-up reminders for patient visits using phone, texting and emails
• Follow up after patient procedures
• Assist office with billing and other administrative duties
• Assist the doctor chairside during procedures (approx 20%)

Requriements:

• Excellent communication skills
• Proven record of superior customer service
• Skilled in computer navigation and data entry
• Self-Starter
• Eager to learn and assist where needed
• Medical office experience helpful, but not required
