Express is looking to fill the position of Tool and Die Maker for our client in Coraopolis PA.
$18 - $22 hr
Rotating 1st and 2nd shift
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:-Grinding tools and die-Turning tools and dies-Reading prints to make changes and adjustments-Construction of new tooling-Maintenance and repair of existing tooling-Use precision measuring instruments. Assemble, fit, align and adjust parts to very close exact tolerance.-Perform work requiring thorough knowledge of machine shop and tool room practices and techniques, properties of various materials and the principals and operations of various types of tools, jigs, fixtures and dies.
The qualified candidate will have the following skills and experience:- A minimum of 5 years tool and die experience in a manufacturing environment. Automotive industry experience a plus. - The ability to read and apply information from blue prints and other technical manuals.-Skilled in the use of hand & power tools, welding equipment, various measuring devices, machine shop tools, etc.- Solid understanding of the set up and operations of non- CNC machine shop equipment.
