The Network/Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining and monitoring the organizations network and systems infrastructure in a multi-site WAN environment. The Network/Systems Administrator will assist other members of the IT Department to provide network and systems support and will report directly to the IT Director. This position will also support and assist in other IT projects within the IT Department and will cross train and support other members of the IT team in systems use.

 

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support and maintain all corporate applications, including, but not limited, Retail POS (UnifyHost), PMS (Visual One), F&B POS (Infogenesis) and Sales (Delphi)
  • Manage and comply with all Sarbanes-Oxley and PCI-DSS IT standards and procedures relating to systems - Ongoing responsibility for monitoring SOX/PCI standards and adjusting environment solutions to match changing requirements
  • Monitor and maintain enterprise Storage Area Network (SAN) solution (HP LeftHand)
  • Monitor and maintain data retention operations (Symantec Back-Up Exec and VEEAM)
  • Maintain and provision multi-cluster Citrix XenApp environment
  • Manage, monitor and maintain MS 2008 R2 Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, and IIS systems
  • Manage, monitor and maintain 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 servers
  • Manage, monitor and maintain multiple Corporate Firewalls (Checkpoint)
  • Manage, monitor and maintain SQL Server environment
  • Manage, monitor and maintain RSA Envision & SecurID systems
  • Manage, monitor and maintain network infrastructure environment (Cisco)
  • Maintain and monitor internal phone system (Avaya)
  • Manage, monitor and maintain VMware multi-cluster ESX environment
  • Develops procedures and conducts routine hardware and software audits of servers and services to ensure maximum platform stability, reliability, and security
  • Provides direction and guidance to seasonal staff to assist them in troubleshooting tier I and II tickets when needed
  • Proactively monitors all systems and network devices
  • Responsible for timely delivery of projects as assigned by IT Director
  • Support IT related issues for corporate and store employees via phone on a daily basis
  • Support IT related issues for special events as scheduled
  • Weekend and evening support for IT emergency needs on a rotating on-call basis
  • Other duties as assigned

 

The “must haves” for this position include:

  • Associates Degree in MIS or 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • 3 years related work experience in network and system administration, help desk, IT support or similar role
  • Ability to communication effectively within all levels of the organization including executive level presentations
  • Ability to create and maintain clearly written technical documentation for administrators and users
  • MCSA/CNA/CCNA/VCP certification (preferred)
  • Demonstrated familiarity with Hypervisors (VMware/Citrix)
  • Experience in deploying, managing and supporting Windows based servers
  • Experience in deploying, managing and supporting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience in deploying, managing and supporting Cisco technologies
  • Ability to perform software installations and upgrades to layered software packages
  • Possess strong problem solving skills with an attitude and focus on excellence in customer service
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced IT support environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team promoting a cooperative approach to communication and problem-solving
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. of computer equipment or components, as needed

 

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills/experience:
