CT/Radiologic Combo Technologist (.75 FTE_FLOAT_ Bellevue)

Provide CT and Diagnostic X-ray imaging services to patients in accordance with physicians orders. Ensure patient safety and provide high quality testing. Prepare rooms and equipment. Perform testing, operating equipment according to prescribed safety standards, and process images. Exercise professional judgment and uphold medical ethics in performance of diagnostic services. Apply knowledge of the principles of growth and development to identify patient and family requirements relative to age specific patients including geriatrics, adults, adolescents, and pediatrics. Maintain strict patient and staff confidentiality. Adhere to appropriate sterile techniques. On occasions when the employee is assigned duties that are within their professional scope of practice but outside of the duties outlined in this job description, the duties of the relevant job description will apply for the duration of the assignment. May require heavy lifting.

This .75 FTE travel group position provides coverage for leave of absences and vacations and will be eligible for full benefits to include: Medical, Dental, and short Term Disability for employee + eligible dependents .

This travel group position is not a per diem role. Expectations for the travel group include:

* If available, the travel group team will also be utilized for last minute coverage when someone is sick.

* Because the float/travel covers vacations and leaves, there are no guaranteed hours per payperiod and some times of the year are busier than others, but you will maintain or exceed 1560 hours worked over an annual basis.

* You may work 2 weeks in a row (80 hours), you may work a couple of days one week and then one day the next, you may have a week or more without any hours or any other combination thereof.

* Generally the summers are busier and you most likely will have to work the day before or after a holiday.

* This position covers primary geographic locations to include Bellevue, Lynwood, Everett, Bothell, Factoria, and Redmond

* We post our schedules for a whole month by the 15th of the previous month.

* Once the schedule is posted, you have the ability to decline or accept to work.

* Anything farther out than the posted schedule, the manager can assign you to cover and it is expected that you cover it. You cannot decline to cover it

Education

Minimum Education Requirements

High School Diploma/GED

Vocational School/Certificate Prog Graduated from an accredited radiologic technology program.

Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements

Intermediate Communication, problem-solving, interpersonal and customer service skills. Intermediate computer skills.

Experience

Minimum Experience Requirements

1 year Direct cross-sectional anatomy experience. 1 year recent direct experience in diagnostic x-ray procedures

Preferred Experience

1 year Experience in a hospital setting.

License/Certifications

Minimum License/Certifications Requirements

At time of hire Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT. Current CPR/BLS. Current WA State license as Radiologic Technologist.
