Experienced Installation Technician - Full-time

Progressive Technology Security Systems, the local team of one of the nation's leading independently owned alarm companies, is seeking to immediately hire an experienced Installer/Service Technician.Qualified applicants should possess the following skills:

• Minimum 1 year experience installing and/or servicing major brand security and fire alarm systems (i.e. Honeywell, Silent Knight, Firelite, DMP).
• Some CCTV, access control, and network experience a plus.
• Demonstrable skills in system programming and troubleshooting using a multi-meter.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Clear driving record.
• Clear BIS Alarm Card.
• Positive and friendly customer service approach.
• Ability to work in team environment, but resourceful when working alone.

Prior to hire, candidates will be required to undergo reference and background check with favorable results. Employee provides his or her own handtools. Company provides vehicle, gas card, cell phone, ladders, power tools, programmers, etc. Position involves climbing tall ladders, working in confined spaces, and carrying loads of up to 50 lbs.This is a full-time position with the company offering a very competitive compensation and benefits package, including Health, 401k Plan, PTO, Holidays.
