Retail Associate eCommerce - Full-time / Part-time

POSITION SUMMARY
The Retail Associate-eCommerce may function in various capacities within the retail location. This role
demonstrates behaviors consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values, on behalf of Goodwill of Central &
Southern Indiana.

various functions within the eCommerce setting.
Hours of Operation
7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday
7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday
Responsibilities
● The Picker is responsible for picking orders and ensuring accuracy by cross-referencing products
with paper invoices. Inspect each product’s condition and ensure it is aligned with the description
provided.
● Attention to detail is a MUST.
● Solid decision-making skills.
● Ability to review written instruction and execute with accuracy.
● Able to work successfully in a team environment.
● Ability to bend and climb.
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
● Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
● Willing to cross-train in other areas.
● The Packer and Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring items are properly packaged and
addressed for shipment.
● Attention to detail is a MUST.
● Solid decision-making skills.
● Basic computer skills, including data entry and Internet navigation.

● Prior automated shipping experience a plus.
● Mechanical knowledge of cold seal machines and/or hot seal machines a plus.
● Ability to work successfully in a team environment.

● The Scanner is responsible for identification of book placement in the eBooks library and ensuring
the organization of the library.
● Attention to detail and organizational skills is a MUST.

● Basic computer skills including data entry required.

● Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for long periods of time with or without reasonable
accommodations.
● The Material Handler is responsible for the movement of inventory within the eCommerce facility.
● Loads/unloads trucks as needed.
● Maintains clean and orderly work area.
● Follows all safety procedures.
● Assists retail team when needs arise.
● Computer skills are desired.
● Use of heavy equipment including pallet jack and double stacker.
● Ability to bend and climb.
● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
● Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
● Willing to cross-train in other areas.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
● Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience
● Military experience highly preferred
● Team player, solid work ethic and adherence to procedures and protocol including maintaining
confidentiality in passwords, logging on and off procedures, and adherence to Goodwill’s principles
● Strong attention to detail and quality of work, including safety awareness
● Good time-management skills
● Must be able to bend, stand, stretch, grip, type and carry for long periods of time
● Some positions will require carrying items in excess of 10 pounds and up to 50 pounds
● Must be able to view a computer screen regularly
● Effective to superior reading, writing and math skills relative to the role assigned
● Familiarity with computers and relevant software including basic computer and Internet navigation
skills
